Things to do in cinque terre with the Cinque Terre Card
Cinque Terre is a beautiful slice of the Italian coast where it is possible to have a not expensive trip. Sure enough, a few years ago it was made a special card available for tourists called the “Cinque Terre Card”. It allows you to have different services included in it. Let’s see them together.
What is the Cinque Terre Card
The Cinque Terre Card exists from 2001 and it was made by the Cinque Terre National Park. Its main function is to guarantee the preservation of the territory thanks to the use of proceeds coming from sales.
For those who want to visit and fully breathe the atmosphere of this place, it is good to know that there are two types of card. The first one is a complete card including train travels. The second one is dedicated only to trekking. Obviously these are two service cards with different costs.
Cinque Terre Card Train MS: what does it includes and how much it costs
The Cinque Terre Card Train MS includes the access to the second class regional trains (excluding the IC, ICN and FB trains), that connect Levanto to La Spezia roundtrip.
Also, the card allows to you to access the Cinque Terre National Park with its guided tours, the Poetic Naturalistic Routes of the Eugenio Montale Literary Park, and the five villages of the Cinque Terre. It is also possible to access the ATC bus service and to use for free the public toilets set in Riomaggiore, Vernazza and Monterosso. The card allows to take part in the laboratories of the Centro di Educazione Ambientale of the park; to access the Wifi; and to visit the Civic Museums of La Spezia, paying a special price.
This complete version of the Cinque Terre Card has a cost of 16 euros for one day, and 41 euros for three day. Children, over 70s and families benefit of interesting discounts.
Cinque Terre Trekking Card
The Cinque Terre Trekking Card covers all the services included in the full version of the card, with the exception of the train travels. The costs are certainly lower. For one day it has a cost of 7.50 euros; for two days it has a cost of 14.50 euros. Children up to 12 years old, families, groups and over 70s benefit of price reductions.
Cinque Terre Card:is it convenient or not?
The answer is: “It depends on the type of vacation you want to do”. Certainly, it is not very easy to visit Cinque Terre by car, especially when tourists invade the villages and it’s hard to park the car. Travel by train is more easy and convenient.
Furthermore, as some sections of the Cinque Terre National Park are subject to a fee, it is useful to be able to take advantage of a complete package that allows you to visit serenely all that the area.http://www.ladla.net/travel-places/things-to-do-in-cinque-terre-with-the-cinque-terre-card/http://www.ladla.net/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Cinque-Terre-card-1024x768.jpghttp://www.ladla.net/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/Cinque-Terre-card-150x150.jpgTravel Places
